Discover the reasons why so many people are concerned about the River Murray. Why is it such an important river to Australians? What can we do to help save the Murray?

Read Aboriginal dreaming stories and find out why bunyips were feared by Aboriginal children. Do you believe they really existed and did they really eat naughty children?  What would they look like? Do kookaburras really laugh and are they endangered? What ideas about helping the Murray River would the bunyips and kookaburras have?

Story writers can also choose to write their own stories about the legendary bunyips or the mischievous kookaburras. They can explore whether the bunyips are dangerous or just misunderstood.
